Patriotism at it's finest
My dad, an immigrant to this country, spent 35 years amassing that collection because he thought it showed his patriotism to collect American currency. In the end, they refused to return it to me. Not because it didn't belong to me. Not because I'd done anything wrong. Not because of anything, save for the fact that they chose to persecute me. To unlawfully persecute and oppress me.
It never fails to amaze me how many officials will forgo the clearance of information. The top secret justification was, "it was worth too much money", although they did not have the statute number or penal code or whatever to cite. Again, I have no military affiliation, so, I have no confidentiality contract or agreement, understood or otherwise.
Strongarmed by my own government, in the greatest nation in the world. The land of the free and home of the bravely taken advantage of.
This, only a year after being promised a resolution to my subsidy money and the misuse of my company's EIN number.
