Well this is an interesting turn of events. My dad's long time labor helper, Mike Pellitier, was involved with the international distribution of of 1000kg of marijuana. He and his cohorts carried out this crime by swimming across the St John river and making the sale. Mikey, as he was known to my father, had four previous felonies for marijuana. He was sentenced to life in prison but had his sentence commuted by President Trump to time served.
The two people who testified against Mikey were Adam Hafford, a long time associate of David Chasse, and Kendra Cyr, who I can only assume is related to my late father's live-in domestic helper, Helene Cyr.
I can only assume that the marijuana Mikey and his cohorts were distributing was the same marijuana that Dave Chasse had been transporting from the Arizona Mexican border to northern Maine. The Chasse property in Maine is bordered on one side by the St John river, opposite of which lies New Brunswick, Canada.
Correction, this was his fourth felony charge for controlled substances.
